大黒さんのイメージといったらカッコイイが強いですが、
この曲はカッコイイというよりかわいらしい曲です。
結婚式にぴったりです。

タケカワさんの優しくさわやかな声が大好きな私ですし、999時代からそれは変わりません。音楽としては歌謡曲またはニューミュージック系の枠に留まっているようにも思えますが。昔のタケカワさんを追うには、「ガンダーラ伝説」のようなメドレーは当然嬉しいですよね。それだけでもこれを買ってしまいます。「僕たちの愛」は、日常の幸せを噛み締めるような曲で聞きながら暖かな幸福にひたれます。しかし、他の作品はアレンジがあまりに普通のような気がしました。

Now who does not recognise the painting of the girl on the book cover? But how many actually knew all along that there was a story behind the girl?
A most engaging story of the girl forced into domestic service, after her father was incapacitated. A flurry of emotions overcomes the reader, beholding how, instead of her learning scepticism and Cinderella-esque-ly suffering . . . her intelligence, innocence and perceptive kindness actually disrupt the "established perpetual chaos" that is the order in the household, where vanity, jealousy and the ugly human emotions reign--ironically what these people are most comfortable with.
The girl must have been a rarity, a genius, in an age where no female, whatever her family's social stature, was ever afforded an education. This part does require a stretch of the imagination, but once overcome, only serves to explain her capacity to withstand, and her effect on, the environment she was thrust into.
The narration on the tape is not too bad, but limits the imagination, therefore impact, too. I'd recommend the book instead.
